Has Obama Put the Reverend Wright Controversy Behind Him?
Recently, Barack Obama resigned his membership in the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. Senator Obama explained that his campaign had become a distraction to the church members. But it is clear that Obama’s aim was to further distance himself from the inflammatory comments made from the pulpit of the church by Reverend Jeremiah Wright and visiting Catholic priest Michael Pfleger.
